THE COMPANY

T & A Australia Pty Ltd was established in 1969. We are a firm of professional engineers specialising in project management and engineering assignments.

Our projects cover all activities from concept to commissioning.

Our services include custom designed commercial and industrial facilities, extensions and renovations, plant and machinery, automation and production improvement systems.

RESOURCES

Our resources involve all major engineering disciplines, CAD design, project cost assessments, planning, cost control and administration.

EXPERIENCE

We have considerable experience in projects of varying sizes. These projects involve the initial planning and design, liaison with authorities, suppliers and client's staff, manufacture, installation and commissioning.

We manage the entire project, but can assist clients who wish to manage their projects themselves.

T & A Australia have carried out many specialist projects including:

	storage and handling of flammable and combustible liquids and gases, for above and underground facilities
	expansion, consolidation, merging and relocation of company offices, production facilities and operations, maintaining full production and minimal disruption to other activities
	design, development and project management of 'Corporate Image' developments for the petroleum and fast food industries
	concept analyses through to installation of waste recycling plants and all associated services

CORPORATE STRUCTURE

The corporate structure of T & A Australia consists of two directors and one associate.

E.K.F. Tiekink - Managing Director
Bachelor Degree of Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: Project and mechanical design, production, project and corporate management.
Since 1969, managed his own business as a Consulting Engineer and Project Manager.

Dr E.R.T. Tiekink - Director
Doctor of Philosophy in Organic Chemistry.
Experience: Lecturer and Researcher in Organic and Structural Chemistry, Business Management.
Positions Held: As above.

J. Poldermans - Associate
Diploma of Marine Engineering and Diploma of Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: Mechanical design, production, project and corporate management.
Positions held in Industry: Plant Engineer, Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager, General Manager and Company Director.

COST AWARENESS & COMPETITIVENESS

Our fee levels are competitive.

We have developed and fine tuned a system incorporating CAD drafting, critical path analysis and cost control, all of which optimise the opportunities of quality control, fast tracking and economy in our projects.

We have established a strong awareness and application of cost and budget controls.
